In the quiet town of Osceola, Iowa, the life of Dr. James David Kimball, an 85-year-old White male, came to a tragic end on December 17, 2024. On that Tuesday morning, first responders were called to his home, where they discovered both him and his wife, Mary Ellen Kimball, with gunshot wounds. Dr. Kimball was rushed to a hospital in Des Moines, where he passed away later that day. His wife, 83, was initially taken to Clarke County Hospital and succumbed to her injuries on December 20.
