On December 3, 2024, 18-year-old Daniel Jones was fatally shot during an attempted robbery in South Fulton, Georgia. The incident occurred on Elkmont Ridge, where police discovered Jones in a driveway with a gunshot wound to the chest; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Nearby, officers found a 16-year-old male, later identified as Jassan Trotter, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the leg and neck.
