Death by Force

On December 17, 2024, at approximately 11:53 a.m., Thomasville Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire at 113 Fern Street in Thomasville, Georgia. Upon arrival, they discovered Edward "Eddie" Haygood suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers administered immediate aid until Thomas County EMS arrived and transported Haygood to Archbold Memorial Hospital. Despite medical efforts, Haygood succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
