On December 23, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., 12-year-old Jeremiah D. Nelson was found with a gunshot wound at the James Park Apartments located at 1050 3rd Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida. Despite immediate medical attention and transport to All Children's Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries that evening.
