On November 26, 2024, 17-year-old Joseph Tapia was fatally shot in Cudahy, California. The incident occurred around 12:58 a.m. in the 4400 block of Clara Street, west of Atlantic Avenue. Authorities pronounced Tapia dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office identified the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head, classifying the manner of death as homicide.
