On the evening of December 8, 2024, at approximately 8:42 p.m., Anaheim Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2000 block of South Margie Lane, a residential neighborhood near Disneyland Resort. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Anaheim resident Kenneth Wayne Swets unresponsive inside a parked vehicle, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Despite prompt attention from the Orange County Fire Authority, Swets was pronounced dead at the scene.
