On December 20, 2024, 62-year-old Wendell Harmon and his wife, 58-year-old Beverly Harmon, were found deceased in their Altadena, California home. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Altadena station responded to a welfare check at the couple's residence on the 700 block of West Sacramento Street, near Casitas Avenue, at approximately 8:04 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered both individuals had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
