On February 2, 2023, at approximately 12:56 a.m., the Travis County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment complex located in the 3100 block of Wells Branch Parkway in North Austin, Texas. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 26-year-old Rashaad Anthony "Lil Shaad" Walker lying outside an apartment unit, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
