On February 6, 2023, 61-year-old U.S. Army veteran Warren Edward Rogers was found dead from a gunshot wound in his residence on West Mims Street in Tyler, Texas.
Following months of investigation, on August 18, 2023, Tyler Police charged three individuals with capital murder in connection to Rogers' death: Herbert Simpson, 54; Stephanie Brasher, 42; and Anthony Taylor, 48.
