On March 17, 2023, 22-year-old Kentae Deshawn Duncan was found deceased from a gunshot wound in Northeast Dallas. His body was discovered in a grassy area between the parking lot and a fence at the Metro-Midtown Apartments located at 5811 Pineland Street. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m., when Dallas police officers responded to the scene.
