On March 21, 2023, at approximately 12:11 a.m., 30-year-old Nancy Aguilar was fatally shot while driving along the eastbound service road of the E. R.L. Thornton Freeway (I-30) in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred near the 5500 block of the freeway, close to Winslow Avenue. Aguilar, a mother of four, was accompanied by a male passenger at the time. The tragic event is believed to have been precipitated by a road rage encounter.
