On April 7, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas, 14-year-old Natavia Lewis tragically lost her life due to an accidental shooting involving her 21-year-old sister. The incident occurred when the sisters discovered a firearm in a closet at their residence on Daniel Street. Believing the gun was unloaded, the older sister handled the weapon, which unexpectedly discharged, striking Natavia in the head. Despite immediate medical attention, Natavia was pronounced dead at the scene.
