On April 7, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas, 14-year-old Natavia Lewis tragically lost her life due to an accidental shooting involving her 21-year-old sister. The incident occurred when the sisters discovered a firearm in a closet at their residence on Daniel Street. Believing the gun was unloaded, the older sister handled the weapon, which unexpectedly discharged, striking Natavia in the head.
