On the evening of April 7, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Grand Prairie police responded to a shooting incident in the 2400 block of North Carrier Parkway. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Daniel Garcia with a fatal gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
