On April 10, 2023, at approximately 2 a.m., a fatal shooting occurred at Joe’s Food Mart, located in the 4200 block of Miller Avenue in southeast Fort Worth, Texas. The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals: 18-year-old Marques Parker, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and 29-year-old Michael Charles Sansom Jr., who succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on April 12, 2023.
