Witnesses reported that a black SUV approached Alexander's vehicle; an individual exited the SUV armed with a rifle and fired multiple shots into the driver's side of the Escalade before fleeing the scene at high speed.
Alexander was the owner of Pimperelli, a Houston-based clothing brand known for its signature bandana puffer jacket, popularized by artists such as Young Thug and 21 Savage. He had recently celebrated the two-year anniversary of his first brick-and-mortar store in southwest Houston. Following his death, a memorial was established in front of his store, reflecting his impact on the local fashion scene and community.
