Alexander Effani

On April 20, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., 32-year-old Houston entrepreneur Effani Alexander was fatally shot while seated in his white Cadillac Escalade at the intersection of South Main Street and the South Loop, near NRG Stadium. Witnesses reported that a black SUV approached Alexander's vehicle; an individual exited the SUV armed with a rifle and fired multiple shots into the driver's side of the Escalade before fleeing the scene at high speed.
