On September 5, 2011, 85-year-old Percy Harmon was discovered deceased in his northeast Houston home. Family members found him bound and gagged in the living room, indicating a violent assault. Investigators believe the assailant(s) entered through a back window, ransacked the residence, and left Harmon to die.
