Marcel Javon Spivey Jr., a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot on April 23, 2017, in the Roseland area of Chicago, Illinois. He was known to his friends as "Cello."

The incident occurred when someone opened fire into the vehicle Spivey was in, resulting in his death and the wounding of a second man. Spivey was shot in the head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1 a.m.
