On June 2, 2023, 19-year-old Erick Iván Ríos Navarro was fatally shot during a soccer game in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 3600 block of Roland Avenue, near South Side Lions Park, where approximately 100 spectators had gathered to watch the match.
