On June 16, 2023, at approximately 12:05 p.m., Seguin Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1600 block of North Austin Street in Seguin, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered 49-year-old Juan Pablo "Porky" Juarez Jr. with a fatal gunshot wound. Justice of the Peace Darrel Hunter pronounced Juarez deceased at the scene.
