On July 4, 2023, 41-year-old Claudia I. Gallegos was fatally shot in Peñitas, Texas. The incident occurred at approximately 9:22 p.m. at a residence located at 1501 N. 11th St. Upon arrival, police found Gallegos by the driver's door of a Dodge Journey, suffering from a gunshot wound.
