On the evening of July 18, 2023, at approximately 7:20 p.m., 33-year-old Brisen Dewayne Dunn of Dallas was fatally shot while riding a gas-powered scooter in Garland, Texas. The incident occurred in the 3300 block of South Shiloh Road near West Kingsley Road. Dunn and another male were traveling northbound when, after stopping at a traffic light, they proceeded through the intersection and were fired upon by at least one individual from a passing vehicle.
