On July 25, 2023, 27-year-old Christopher James De Leon was found deceased with gunshot wounds on the 200 block of Adams Street in Laguna Heights, Texas. The Cameron County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, noting signs of foul play, and promptly initiated a homicide investigation.
