On July 30, 2023, in Lakehills, Texas, Randy Knox was fatally shot during a confrontation. Deputies from the Bandera County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Oak Cliff, where they discovered Knox with gunshot wounds to his back and left armpit.
