On August 4, 2023, the body of 24-year-old Desiree Zaria Fisher was discovered in a field near Southcross Ranch Road and Side Saddle Drive in San Antonio, Texas. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and shell casings were found nearby. Fisher's body appeared to have been at the location for an extended period before being found.
