Eddie Edwards Jr., a 33-year-old resident of San Antonio, Texas, was fatally shot on August 8, 2023. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Upland Road, near I-10 on the east side of the city.

Police reports indicate that three individuals broke into the apartment where Edwards was located. Surveillance footage captured the group entering and subsequently fleeing the scene.
