On November 23, 2024, 32-year-old Michael Angelo Vargas was fatally shot in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. at the Twin Peaks restaurant located on the I-10 access road near De Zavala. Vargas and a female companion had been dining at the establishment and, upon returning to their vehicle, discovered several individuals attempting to break into it.
