On September 9, 2023, Tom Louis, a man in his late 50s, was fatally shot in northeast Houston. The incident occurred in the 4100 block of Weaver Road, where Louis and his brother were engaged in a conversation with an individual known to them. An argument ensued, during which the suspect attempted to draw a firearm from his waistband.
