On August 19, 2002, the body of 33-year-old Adrien Davis was discovered in a field near a business at 3301 Gateway Boulevard in Pinellas Park, Florida. Davis had been last seen alive the previous evening, on August 18, 2002, around 6 p.m., outside the Luxury Hotel on East Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa, where she had been residing. Her death was determined to be the result of asphyxiation, and the circumstances surrounding her murder remain unsolved.
