On October 14, 2023, 38-year-old Quentin Gellington was fatally shot in Dallas, Texas, while intervening to protect a robbery victim near Big T Plaza. The incident occurred around 3:10 a.m. in the 4500 block of Village Fair Drive. Gellington's courageous act of stepping in to defend the victim led to his being shot by the assailants.
