On November 7, 2023, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Houston police officers responded to a shooting incident at a residence located at 4334 Spring Valley Road. Upon arrival, they discovered 41-year-old Rudy Muñoz Yanez unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical assistance provided by a witness and continued efforts by the officers, Yanez was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
