On December 27, 2023, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Fort Worth police responded to a shooting incident on the southbound service road of Interstate 35W near the Rendon Crowley Road exit. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim with gunshot wounds to his upper body. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
