On January 1, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Orange, Texas, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including 17-year-old Janiya Lewis. At approximately 7:50 a.m., officers from the Orange Police Department responded to a reported shooting at a residence on North 8th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Janiya, her mother, 34-year-old Porsha Kiel, her grandfather, 53-year-old Bobby Kiel, and 33-year-old Lester Lewis, all deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
