Novajah Ringgold, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on June 3, 2017, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. on the 6100 block of South Throop Street. Ringgold's death was the result of an altercation that escalated to violence. He reportedly intervened in a verbal dispute involving his sister and a man named Trevor Robinson.
