On January 17, 2024, 18-year-old Aydin Torres was tragically killed in a shooting at a residence in the 700 block of Steele Road in Alvin, Texas. The incident, which occurred around 8:00 PM, also resulted in the death of 17-year-old Kalvin Carrasco and left another individual critically injured. A distressed individual alerted the Alvin Police Department to the scene, where officers discovered the two deceased victims and the injured person, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital.
