On February 16, 2024, at approximately 2:00 PM, Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 1800 block of West Mockingbird Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men with gunshot wounds: 26-year-old D'Marcus Deonta Lott and 42-year-old Roy Bell. The preliminary investigation revealed that Lott and Bell, who were acquainted, had engaged in an argument in the parking lot of a business.
