On March 4, 2024, 12-year-old Carlos Fernandez was tragically shot and killed in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the early evening while Carlos was playing outside his family's apartment complex in the Gulfton neighborhood. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and observed a vehicle speeding away from the scene immediately afterward.
