Death by Force

On March 16, 2024, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Dallas police officers responded to a welfare check in the 1700 block of Mentor Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 31-year-old Christopher Hawkins lying unresponsive outside a residence, having sustained a gunshot wound. Despite prompt medical attention from Dallas Fire-Rescue, Hawkins was pronounced dead at the scene.
