On April 6, 2024, in Cedar Park, Texas, 42-year-old Jennifer Diaz was found deceased in a car parked in the driveway of a residence on Fawnfield Drive. She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Upon arrival, Cedar Park police suspected that the shooter was inside the home. A shelter-in-place alert was issued for nearby residents, and the Central Texas Regional SWAT team was deployed. After several hours, SWAT officers entered the residence around 1 ...
