On April 7, 2024, 24-year-old Abel Alvarado Martínez was fatally shot in the driveway of his home in Irving, Texas. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Ouida Street, where officers responding to a disturbance call found Martínez with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
