On May 14, 2024, 32-year-old Lee Jordan Murrow of Waco, Texas, was reported missing by the Bellmead Police Department. Three days later, on May 17, his body was discovered floating in the Brazos River near Cameron Park in Waco. An autopsy revealed that Murrow had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
