On the night of May 26, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Dallas police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of Young Street, near the Dallas Convention Center. Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Xavier Marquis Jasso suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
