On May 26, 2024, in Euless, Texas, 40-year-old Jorge Lara Pulido was fatally shot by his girlfriend, 43-year-old Bridget Leitao. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of West Airport Freeway, where officers responding to reports of a gunshot victim found Pulido lying on the ground with a chest wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
