On June 4, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., Fort Worth police responded to a shooting incident at a residence in the 3800 block of North Elm Street, near Meacham Airport. Upon arrival, officers discovered two male victims with multiple gunshot wounds: 24-year-old Jaime Francisco Reyna and his father, 46-year-old Jaime Ignacio Reyna. The elder Reyna was pronounced dead at the scene, while his son was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
