On June 8, 2024, in League City, Texas, 67-year-old Raymond Stoney was fatally shot at his residence on Paisley Meadow Drive. Responding to reports of multiple gunshots around 7:23 p.m., League City Police officers arrived at the scene to find Stoney deceased in the backyard. His son, 43-year-old Raymond Jeremiah Stoney, was present and armed with a handgun.
