On July 25, 2024, in Lampasas, Texas, 50-year-old Tobi Jean King and her 82-year-old mother, Elaine Owens, were tragically killed in their home. Earlier that day, police had responded to a criminal trespass call at their residence, where they encountered 56-year-old Charles Dougherty in the backyard.
