Millie Chance, a 24-year-old corrections officer with the Burnet County Sheriff's Office, tragically died on April 13, 2017, in Lampasas, Texas. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide. Millie was shot by her wife, Deborah Chance, who was 47 years old. The shooting occurred following a domestic disturbance, during which Millie had decided to leave Deborah.
