In the early hours of August 9, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Edna, Texas, resulting in the death of 36-year-old RoseAnn Josephine Marie Martinez. At approximately 2 a.m., local authorities responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots near the intersection of Kleas and Buffalo streets. Upon arrival, they encountered 36-year-old Edna resident, Ramon Palacios, who confessed to shooting his girlfriend, RoseAnn Martinez.
