On August 12, 2024, 37-year-old Rudy Rivas Vallejo Jr. was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Walmart located on Southeast Military Drive in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred around 6:50 a.m., when police responded to reports of a shooting and found Vallejo with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
