On October 27, 2024, at approximately 6:25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident in the 5600 block of Spring Valley Road in Far North Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of an apartment complex. One of the victims, identified as 28-year-old Kedarius Jackson, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other individual was transported to a local hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
