On January 30, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m., 35-year-old Lamar Laron Converse was fatally shot multiple times near 167th Avenue and East 14th Street in the Ashland community of unincorporated Alameda County, California. Converse was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
